Southern Cameroons European Women (SCEW eV) : We wish Alassa and his team all the best!

Dear Circle of Friends team, Enclosed is our letter of solidarity against the deportation of Alassa: Link to the solidarity letter
Southern Cameroons European Women (SCEW eV) is a registered association for humanitarian aid and human rights (CSO) based in Duisburg. We are an association of women across the European continent with origins in Southern Cameroons (English-speaking regions of Cameroon, also known as Anglophone Cameroonians).
We wish Alassa and his team all the best! Please keep us posted.
Kind regards, Jenny Tausch-Buhr, SCEW eV board / www.scew-taks.org

Your fight is our fight too! Greetings from Bergkamen! Board of Directors of BergAUF

Dear Alassa,
we found out about the scandalous deportation decision against you and we are appalled and outraged. As a progressive personal choice alliance, we have already followed your courageous fight in Ellwangen "we are refuges not criminals" from Bergkamen and have also campaigned for your return from Italy. We were able to get to know you personally at our event on the Corona pandemic, how you filmed important parts of Willi Mast's presentation and how you gave us expert advice on a suitable background design with attention to detail. How inhuman is the way the BAMF treats you. In earlier years, thousands of migrants found work and a new home in Bergkamen through mining, enriching everyday life and culture in Bergkamen. Even today we hear again and again in Germany that there is a shortage of skilled workers. But the people who have to flee should not be trained for this. The corporations want to decide who is allowed to enter the country and who should die miserably. We resolutely protest against this!
We demand that all refugees be treated humanely and that they can work with us to create a future worth living in. The attempt to deport you proves that this is exactly what Mr. Seehofer is afraid of. He knows what strength the refugees have mustered in the fight for their future, and what we can all do when we unite.
Your fight is our fight too! Greetings from Bergkamen! Board of Directors of BergAUF

Solidarity address of the voter initiative Karin Zan Bi … / MLPD local group Kiel

Dear Alassa,
We were outraged to hear that the BAMF is threatening you with immediate deportation to your home country, Cameroon, which has been ravaged by civil war. They accuse you of inventing your reasons for asylum and lying them. Instead of giving you help. they accuse you of your deepest hurts as a lie. Instead of guaranteeing a safe place to stay, as promised by asylum law, you were housed with many others in a collective accommodation in Ellwangen, where constant police terror was omnipresent. With your faith in the authorities, which you still had for the time being, you didn't accept that. You made it clear: It is the refugees who have to fear the police, not the police who (have to be afraid of refugees) have to fear refugees, and you have achieved that this truth also stood up in court. You have rightly denounced these practices with clear, convincing statements. And then you were deported to Italy.
With the solidarity that was bestowed on you, we (was yours) achieved your retrieval. You then founded the Friends of Refugee Solidarity, whose spokesman you are. Refugees are now taking their destiny into their own hands and fighting for their rights. You called “horse and rider” too clearly and contributed to questioning the trustworthiness of the BAMF, and its public image is rightly called into question. The BAMF is pushing for a quick deportation so that there is no time to ask questions. But you are still in Germany. And we need you here to fight together for human rights and against all injustices.
No deportation of Alassa Mfouapon! For the right to flee and equal rights for Germans and migrants! High international solidarity!

10.9. Jean Ziegler, Geneva, Member of the Advisory Committee of the UN Human Rights Council signs the appeal:

"Alassa Mfouapon is a courageous and nationally known refugee activist against legal developments and national spokesman for the organization "Freundeskreis Flüchtlingssolidarität". He and several other refugees from Gelsenkirchen were asked by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees to go to their home countries, otherwise they would be deported.
Apparently Alassa should be punished for his commitment to the rights of refugees!

Hands off Alassa! For the right to escape!
Asylum for Alassa and all Democrats!”

8.9. Konstantin Wecker sends solidarity greetings

and joins the call to withdraw the deportation threat.

Solidary greetings from Stuttgart from the anti-war day on September 1st.

Dear Alassa,
at the DGB rally on the anti-war day on September 1st. in Stuttgart we - the circle of friends and the SI - publicized your case with leaflets and protested against deportations. In one hour, 36 people showed their solidarity with you and signed: "Protest against deportations - asylum for refugee activist Alassa Mfouapon!"

Solidarity resolution at the demonstration on the anti-war day on September 1st in Cologne (excerpts):

Dear Alassa Mfouapon,
we participants in the anti-war day demonstration in Cologne are protesting against the BAMF trying again to deport you to Cameroon and denying you the right to flee.
Your deportation is clearly politically motivated in order to get rid of you as a courageous refugee activist known nationwide and national spokesman for the Friends of Refugee Solidarity... We condemn that in the strongest possible terms. Especially today, on Anti-War Day, we stand up for world peace. This also includes the fight for the right to flee on an anti-fascist basis. We demand from the BAMF the immediate stop of your deportation and the recognition of your asylum application. The deportation also affects other refugees. We demand a right of asylum that is worthy of the name. No more deportation terror, high international solidarity!
(approved by 20 participants)

Carola Rackete writes: Dear Alassa, I am very sorry to hear this news.

“The deportation of Alassa Mfouapon is clearly politically motivated. He had sued against the brutal police operation in the state initial reception center in Ellwangen in May 2018 and was right. The federal government is trying to get rid of people who, like Alassa, organize themselves politically, demand their rights and question the racist migration system. We have to support people like Alassa in a practical way and in solidarity.”
Best regards, Carola

Monday demonstration Marl 8/30/21: Declaration of solidarity Alassa & friends

Dear Alassa, dear friends,
Today at our Monday demonstration we talked about the fact that you should be deported “out of the blue”, so to speak. We are outraged about this and express our full solidarity!
We also discussed the disaster in Afghanistan. The "greatest concern" of the Berlin government and the bourgeois parties is that we will "get a situation like 2015". That's really cynical. For years the occupation of Afghanistan was justified, among other things, by the fact that it was about defending freedom and women's rights. When it comes to further departure, the so-called “local forces” are always mentioned. They want nothing to do with the fighters who are risking their lives in the fight against the Taliban and the corrupt government.
We see a connection here with the attacks on you: women, men and children who stand up for their rights and do not allow themselves to be branded "parasites" or criminals who fight for a self-determined life without exploitation and oppression, the rulers cannot here still need in Afghanistan or anywhere else. We, on the other hand, stand with you for solidarity and friendship between peoples and fight together and on an equal footing for a future worth living for the broad masses of the population around the world. We resolutely protest against the planned deportation! For the right to flee and a right of asylum on an anti-fascist basis, which also deserves its name! Keep on fighting! Our hearts are with you.

Three musicians and bands at the rebellious music festival on August 27th and 28th. to Alassa

"Hello, I am Dario by the band Los Pueblos. We played here at the Rebel Music Festival. It is a festival of international solidarity. And that's why it's exactly right that the fight against deportation, solidarity with refugees is lived here - with music, with content and culture. We in our band are first and foremost in favor of everyone who has to leave their country under the most adverse conditions for whatever reason, being able to live here in Germany. Here this rich country shouldn't do that. The refugees belong right here. While the powerful wreak havoc in other countries, it should be illegal if people come here for the reasons. Therefore, full solidarity with all refugees, old and new! And Alassa is a special case. He is someone who bravely puts himself in the front. He is leading the fight with his friends and is now being singled out and is to be deported, denounced. We have also experienced the agitation of the Bild Zeitung against him and that upsets us especially in the band. And therefore full solidarity with Alassa! We are all Alassa - we are with you!"

"Hello my name is mev. I'm from Cameroon, just like Alassa. We also speak the same language. It's just very, very funny, just unbelievable that he now has to leave Germany again. All I can say is that there is enough space here for everyone. That's just not okay. We have to put even more emphasis on solidarity and do everything we can to become stronger.

"Musician Master Al from Hamburg: "Alassa's reminds me of many situations. And I think it's important to always think in terms of stories. If you are politically active in a revolutionary way, you are put in a corner and people try to put you down in order to intimidate the others...You read in the newspaper, in the media, that he and other refugees in Ellwangen fought back , he's suing the country - they want to break him to discourage other people from doing it. With the force that I saw here at the festival, with the background, it will be possible to prevent that. People need to be aware of that, they need to read and hear what's happening in Alassa." (Slightly shortened)

Voter initiative for Anna Vöhringer and Peter Weispfenning

Against arbitrary deportations - full solidarity for Alassa!
Dear Alassa, warm greetings and solidarity from the voters' initiative for Anna Vöhringer and Peter Weispfenning. We have learned of your inhuman deportation threat and condemn it in the strongest possible terms. The BAMF rejected your application for asylum for far-fetched reasons, because your reasons for asylum are allegedly unbelievable, although there are many sources that show that you were politically persecuted in Cameroon. The real reason for your sudden deportation is your fight and judicial victory against the police arbitrariness and violence in the initial reception center in Ellwangen. People like you and the organization you founded, “Freundeskreis Flüchtlingssolidarität”; are a thorn in the side of the state apparatus in Germany. Revolutionary and progressive forces are increasingly being criminalized simply for standing up for freedom and human rights (in their homelands) and for attacking the capitalist ruling class. Your imminent deportation is obviously a politically motivated tit-for-tat response from the Federal Office and the Ministry of the Interior, which is its superior. Not only are you threatened with deportation, but also numerous militant refugees from other countries such as Afghanistan, Palestine, Syria or Libya the deportees have to fear for their lives. In the meantime, you have taken legal action against your unfounded threat of deportation. We wish you every success in the urgent court proceedings before the administrative court in Sigmaringen! A victory would also be a signal for the other refugees that they can defend themselves against the reactionary refugee policy! We welcome your further commitment against the inhuman refugee policy of the federal government! Internationalist List/MLPD – Voter Initiative Anna Vöhringer and Peter Weispfenning
For the board Vesna Buljevic, Ulrich Achenbach

At the gates of Bosch Reutlingen, 21 colleagues spoke out against the deportation of Alassa. They signed the following declaration of protest:

Protest against deportations, especially against the deportation of Alassa Mfouapon!
Alassa Mfouapon is directly threatened with deportation to Cameroon. He fled Cameroon with his family because the mixed religious couple was threatened with death. As a human rights activist, he has become a recognized spokesman for refugee solidarity. Because of his commitment, he is a target of the German government's reactionary and aggressive refugee policy. He is now in his third year of training and speaks good German. His asylum application was not processed and was dismissed as unfounded.
We hereby demand a stop to the deportation of Alassa and the refugees threatened with deportation.

German-South African Friendship Society Marikana, 24.8.

Dear Alassa,
We, your friends from the German-South African Friendship Society Marikana, are resolutely protesting against the federal government's plans to deport you to the "safe country of origin" Cameroon. The broad solidarity that already exists will help Seehofer and Co fail with their plans. We find it particularly outrageous that you, as a representative of the democratic refugee movement, should be deported on behalf of all militant refugees. We must not and will not allow that.
In South Africa, the refugees from the surrounding countries (Zimbabwe, Angola, etc.) are also being oppressed by the ANC government and being used to create divisions. Former Health Minister and now Home Secretary (Aaron Motsoaledi) claims that immigrants are bringing disease to South Africa and are swamping the health system. He calls for border walls, arrests, deportations and internment camps for the immigrants who are taking jobs away from South Africans.
Many have already returned to their countries of origin voluntarily because they no longer feel safe in South Africa. Some of them have organized themselves in our partner organization in South Africa and have signed a solidarity pact with us.
Dear Alassa, we wish you a lot of courage and perseverance and stand by your side.
Great international solidarity

Spokespersons of the regional group South of the Friends of Refugee Solidarity / Speakers of Regional Group South of Friends of Refugee Solidarity /

Dear Alassa,
We are very worried and our heart is in pain about BAMF telling you to leave the country. Deporting people to the place their lives are in danger is like killing them indirectly. Every attack on you we consider an attack on all refugees and the movement for human rights and against deportation. Against all attacks we stood together and increased our solidarity – so we also do against the threat of deportation! And we are confident, that our movement will even get stronger in this battle. We are informing the public about the politics of the EU and German government, mainly the Minister of the Interior, Horst Seehofer. And we find that there are many people who do not accept this politics.
The forces against you and all refugees seem to be strong, but as we see, they turn out to be weak, as soon as many people raise against it. This is what we are fighting for, side by side, refugees and solidarity people. We won't go back! We will not give in! We are with you, your not alone remember that together we stand divided we fall, much love to you.
Speakers of Regional Group South of Friends of Refugee Solidarity

Dear Alassa,
we are very concerned and it hurts our hearts that the BAMF has asked you to leave the country. Deporting people to where their lives are in danger is like indirect killing. We consider any attack on you as an attack on all refugees and the movement for human rights and against deportation. We stood together against all attacks and strengthened our solidarity - so we do it against the impending deportation! And we are confident that our movement will grow even stronger in this struggle. We inform the public about the policies of the EU and the federal government, especially those of the Minister of the Interior, Horst Seehofer. And we find that there are many people who do not accept this policy.
The forces against you and all the refugees seem strong, but as we see, they turn out to be weak when many people oppose them. We are fighting for this, side by side, refugees and people in solidarity.
We won't go back! We won't give up! We are with you, you are not alone, don't forget that we stand together, fall divided, all our love to you.

Letter from A., a member of the Circle of Friends: Dear friend Alassa, dear friend Alassa

I am very worried and my heart hurts that they are writing you this letter asking you to leave the country, but we have to prove them wrong. They kill people indirectly by deporting them to the place where their life is threatened, which amounts to indirect murder.
I want you to promise yourself that you will be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind. See the bright side of everything and let your optimism come true. Think only of the best, work for and expect only the best, forget past mistakes and push for the greater achievements of the future. Spend so much time improving yourself that you don't have time to criticize others. Live in the belief that the whole world is on your side as long as you stay true to the best that is within you! We are with you, you are not alone, remember that we stand together, fall divided, much love to you.

Solidary greetings from W. Hofmann

Dear members of the circle of friends,
I am outraged by the decision to reject Alassa Mfouapon's asylum claim as "manifestly unfounded". I declare my solidarity with the fight for Alassa's right to stay.
With solidary greetings W. Hofmann

Voter initiative "Lea Weinmann, Heidi Schmidt and Fritz Hofmann" in the Wartburg district and Kali district on August 20, 2021

Dear Alassa,
we declare to you, as well as to other progressive people threatened with deportation, our full solidarity against the rejection of the asylum application and the threat of deportation! Together we will fight back the BAMF's aggressive, anti-communist-motivated attempt to intimidate and deport refugees like you in exemplary solidarity. This attack is directed against the self-organized refugee movement and against the whole refugee solidarity in Germany. They won't get away with this! In this sense we demand:
Stop the deportation terror!
For the right to escape!
For an unrestricted right of asylum for all oppressed on an anti-fascist basis!
For the protection of all refugees and for the recognition of their rights in an international convention!

Dear Alassa, you have my full solidarity! – Heilbronn, 22.8.21

I am a social worker in refugee care. The people come from numerous countries, many from Gambia. Most are rejected because they supposedly come from "safe countries of origin" - anyone who deals with the conditions in the countries knows: this is a farce. In the rejection notifications from the BAMF, one also gets the impression that this is of no interest at all.
When Seehofer's migration package was pushed through with a total of 9 laws, I dealt with it thoroughly. I gave a lecture on this for my social worker colleagues - many disbelieving faces and shaking of heads, but also reassurance "let's wait and see how this is implemented..." In the meantime we are seeing the effects en masse. It's a disaster in every single case! Many Gambians fall into depression, take drugs, get into endless debt, look for criminal sources of income, become violent. The vast majority would like to go to work and build an independent life.
Just one example: a colleague from Gambia worked in a laboratory near Heilbronn for a long time on a permanent contract and earned a good living, and was on friendly terms with the colleagues there. He was allowed to do this with permission because his asylum procedure was still ongoing. After his application for asylum was rejected, he was granted a temporary suspension of deportation. Seehofer's laws stipulate that anyone who does not present clear documents proving their identity only gets second-degree toleration, which we call "toleration light". He is obliged to leave the country, only gets reduced benefits for asylum seekers (€180 per month) and a ban on working. His boss and a department head wrote a total of 4 letters to the regional council that he is needed and has proven itself - no chance without presenting a document from home! It was Corona time, diplomatic missions were closed. The boss had to terminate the permanent contract because otherwise he would have employed him illegally. Since then, the colleague has lived on €180 and has no opportunity to look for work. He's completely resigned. I told him about your case and gave him the tribunal documentation to read. Whenever we talked about it, his eyes shone, but so far he has not been won over to a joint fight against these inhuman laws. He withdrew completely because nobody could do anything "for him" anymore.
This is the meaning of the path you started with the self-organization of the refugees. Not care and intercession, but taking fate into your own hands. Because that is the real counter-position to Seehofer's reactionary politics, that's why your case is so explosive.
It was so good for me that the arrogant formulations in the BAMF notifications, as I know them in abundance, are finally being publicly questioned: "obviously unfounded", "alleged", "unbelievable" - as I know them. The Seehofer laws must go, but there must also be a broad movement against the reactionary implementation by BAMF. How often have refugees from many countries tried to explain to me that the reasoning in the BAMF notification was incorrect, that they had explained it in the interview, etc. Anyone who comes from a “safe country of origin” has bad cards for “credibility” with the authorities . If you don't present any documents, your own statements in the interview will be bashed around your ears: you said there's another uncle in your home country, then it's reasonable for him to drive to the embassy for a passport... Then it's also on the ID card the note that the data was based solely on their own information. So even the identity card documents doubts about the credibility.
Dear Alassa, I wish you and the circle of friends a lot of energy. At every public opportunity I have stood up for it and will continue to do so: Asylum rights for Alassa and all refugees! Away with tolerance light! Stop deportations!
Best regards

Non-partisan municipal election alliance FOR Esslingen, August 22

Dear Alassa, we, the board and the municipal councilors of FÜR Esslingen, Sigrid Cremer and Dilek Toy, protest against your planned deportation to Cameroon. It is sheer cynicism when Seehofer and Co describe Cameroon as a "safe country of origin". The Islamist Boko Haram is raging in the north of the country. Amnesty International reports numerous violations of human rights, including torture, by the dictatorial government. This government is obviously bowing to the Islamists. We are currently seeing where this is leading in Afghanistan. We have in the Today's edition of the Onion - an advertising paper with a circulation of 45,000 - reported on your case. Esslingen is one of the 267 cities that have declared themselves "safe havens". We demand that at least these cities are finally assigned refugees. FÜR Esslingen also supports the ideal human chain from Germany to Italy on September 18, 2021 and wants to publicize your case there as well. We think it's great that you stand up for the rights of all refugees and fight courageously against the inhumane refugee policy. For an unrestricted right of asylum on an anti-fascist basis. For fighting the causes of flight and not fighting the refugees. For a humane treatment of people on the run. High international solidarity! Kind regards from Sigrid Cremer and Dilek Toy

Travel group from Mecklenburg-West Pomerania to the opening rally of the Internationalist List/MLPD on 21.8. in Hannover

Dear Alassa,

With outrage we reject the intention of the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees to deport you back to Cameroon. We stand behind you in full solidarity. You are right that they want to punish you politically as a refugee activist who is not intimidated with false and untrue claims. We won't allow that! This deportation terror is aimed at all refugees, whom reactionary politicians like Interior Minister Seehofer only see as potential criminals. In view of developments in Afghanistan, Chancellor candidate Armin Laschet is most concerned that many refugees could come to Germany, as they did in 2015, and the fascist AfD even wants to suspend the right to asylum. This reveals their reactionary and racist way of thinking. Those who constantly demand “human rights” from other countries are trampling on them at home! For the human right to flee and unrestricted asylum for all oppressed on an anti-fascist basis! High international solidarity!

Solidarity International and voter initiative Klaus Bremer and Barbara Meyer in Kassel, August 20

Dear Alassa, we, members of Solidarity International eV and supporters of the Klaus Bremer and Barbara Meyer voters' initiative in Kassel, declare our full solidarity with you.
You are a courageous person and have developed into a well-known and important leader in the refugee movement in Germany. With your won lawsuits against the defamation against picture newspaper and the AfD parliamentary group leader Weidel and your courageous trial against the attacks on the refugees in the LEA Ellwangen in May 2018, you showed courage and protested against injustice. The fact that you are now being asked to leave Germany is therefore nothing more than a politically motivated tit-for-tat. Seehofer's policy, along with that of the entire federal government and the EU, does not really want refugees here, especially none who stand up for their own rights, organize themselves for their interests and go public with them or even sue the German state and the police .
Refugees should be adapted to keep their mouths shut and not speak out publicly. They are supposed to remain petitioners and are treated as second-class citizens. According to the logic of the federal government, they should be deprived of basic rights while arbitrary decisions are made about their asylum or deportation. Above all, they should be prevented from expressing themselves in terms of their exercise of their democratic rights. That is why your courage and your incorruptibility are a thorn in the side of the Ministry of the Interior and its authorities. A political example is to be made of you by being expelled. We wish you and all the people who are in solidarity with you and the refugees who are in a similar situation a lot of perseverance and success in the fight against this unjust and deeply inhumane policy. As far as possible, we will do our best to ensure that you receive your right to stay here.
With solidarity greetings your friends from Kassel

Rally for the start of the election campaign Düsseldorf, 18.8.

The opening rally on August 18th of the Internationalist List / MLPD in Düsseldorf with the direct candidates Daniela Maus and Paul Straif sends warm solidarity greetings to Alassa Mfouapon! We protest against your planned deportation and also protest against the Greens/CDU state government of Baden-Württemberg, which obviously wants to take revenge here. Revenge because you stand for the self-organized struggle of the refugees. For your immediate asylum with us in Germany! When we are organized, we are strong. Together against exploitation and oppression, for freedom and the right to flee!

Solidarity International (SI) eV - regional group Ostalb - c/o Renate Radmacher

Dear Alassa,
Our general meeting of the Ostalb regional group would like to assure you of our full solidarity and support. There can be no other reason than a politically motivated tit-for-tat when you are asked to leave Germany. Seehofer's policy, along with that of the entire federal government and the EU, does not really want refugees here, especially none who stand up for their own rights, organize themselves for their interests and go public with them or even sue the German state and the police . Refugees have to adapt here, keep their mouths shut and not express themselves publicly. They are meant to show gratitude for the government's "magnanimity." This turns them into eternal petitioners and treats them as second-class people, who – according to the logic of the federal government – can also be denied rights, arbitrarily decide on asylum or deportation and, above all, do not want to allow any democratic activities. That's why your courage and your incorruptibility are a thorn in your side and you should be made a political example by being expelled.
We wish you and all the people who are in solidarity with you and the refugees who are in a similar situation a lot of perseverance and success in the fight against this unjust and deeply inhumane policy.

Book launch event participants in Ludwigsburg protest against the planned deportation of Alassa Mfouapon to Cameroon

We are outraged and angry about the threat from the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees that you should be deported to Cameroon. To a country you fled from because of political persecution. Terror reigns in Cameroon and many people have to flee. With this threat, the asylum law, which has already been thinned out, is to be further restricted. Does the threat of deportation come from the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees - or should one say "Federal Office against Migration and Against Refugees" from the pen of higher authorities? Last year, the administrative court in Stuttgart gave the state of Baden-Württemberg and its police a clear rebuff. It found that the brutal police operation in the state initial reception center in Ellwangen was unlawful.Dear Alassa, we are in solidarity with your fight against deportation and for the unrestricted right to asylum and wish you every success. The participants in the event for the book presentation " The Crisis of Bourgeois Ideology and Anti-Communism”. Declaration of solidarity with Alassa: We were outraged to hear that you are to be deported to Cameroon. On the other hand, we stand behind you! So far, neither deportation, agitation from the BILD newspaper nor the AfD have been able to stop you from fighting for a future worth living and organizing the refugees for it. You are a role model for many of us. The new attack is bold and inflammatory. The government will be defeated this time too. We are currently preparing the Rebellious Music Festival on August 27-28. before. It stands against racism and for international solidarity. You belong to our festival too! We wish you the best of luck and make your fight known!

Dairy farmers from the Lower Rhine and supporters of the agricultural platform in the internationalist alliance

Solidarity address against the deportation of Alassa

We dairy farmers and readers of the Rebellische Landstimme protest against the forced deportation of the refugee Alassa Mfouapon to Cameroon. Alassa lost his child while trying to escape. He made headlines nationwide because three years ago he courageously campaigned for the right to dignified treatment in the initial reception center in Ellwangen and for this the AfD insulted him as a terrorist who “deserved the death penalty”. Today he is in the middle of an apprenticeship as a media designer. The Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) is now suddenly claiming that Cameroon is a safe country and that there is no reason to flee. German agricultural policy also bears some of the responsibility for the cause of flight in West Africa. With the export of milk powder from the EU at dumping prices, the local farmers there are being ruined. And here the livelihoods of small and medium-sized farmers are being destroyed by producer prices that are far too low. Alassa must be given permanent residency with us! High international solidarity!

European Coordinators of ICOR / International Coordination of Revolutionary Parties & Organizations ICOR from 17.8.

Dear Alassa,

We were outraged to hear that the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees asked you to leave Germany within a week and would otherwise deport you. That's a scandal! The same letter was also sent to other refugees - you and all those affected deserve our full solidarity and support in the fight against this threat of deportation!
It is obvious that your activities in particular are a thorn in the side of those in power: since the fight against the brutal police operation in the refugee accommodation in Ellwangen in 2018, you have courageously and selflessly been in the front row for us to fight together - no matter what country you are from comes - for the right to flee, for humane treatment and against the causes of flight. In particular, the "Friends of Refugee Solidarity" is groundbreaking because it stands for organized cooperation. Your role model and the work of the circle of friends have encouraged many people to become active for their rights themselves.
It is of particular concern to ICOR Europe to bring the militant and independent initiatives of refugees into contact with each other and that we learn from and support each other.
For the right to escape! Solidarity with the revolutionary liberation struggles! High international solidarity!
Jeroen Toussaint & Joachim Griesbaum European Coordinators of ICOR

Monday demonstration Wuppertal 16.8.

Dear Alassa Mfouapon,
we are outraged by the renewed attempt to deport you to Cameroon and to take away your right to flee. It is obvious that the federal government wants to get rid of you as a courageous refugee activist known nationwide, who opposes the right-wing development in Germany and for whom the unity of the refugees as well as the unity between refugees and Germans is important.
The deportation also affects other refugees. This is an inhuman policy of Seehofer and Co.
We demand a right of asylum that is worthy of the name. No more deportation terror, high international solidarity!

Voter initiative "Elke Weidner and Claudia Lenger-Atan", Reutlingen / Tübingen, August 16

Dear Alassa, dear others affected by deportation, we declare our full solidarity against the rejection of the asylum application and the threat of deportation! We have already fought successfully here against an intended deportation of traumatized, vulnerable women. Together we will fight back the extremely aggressive attempt by the BAMF to intimidate and deport refugees like you, dear Alassa, in an exemplary manner. The inhuman further deportation practice to Afghanistan was suspended due to widespread protest from Seehofer.
With this in mind, we demand: For an unrestricted right of asylum for all oppressed people on an anti-fascist basis!

Children's organization RED FOXES, Esslingen, August 16th

Dear Alassa, we want you to stay here! We think it's mean that you should be thrown out of Germany. Refugees and other people who live here should all have the same rights. Your T-shirt, which we looked at in a photo, says: "Very happy". We want you and your family to be "completely happy"! Many greetings

MLPD assembly Esslingen, August 16th

Dear Alassa, the members of our group send you solidarity greetings and want to support you in the fight for your right to stay. This fight is important for all people who are threatened in their homeland or who are driven out of it. Our protest is directed against the policies of the Federal Republic and the European Union, which are increasingly undermining the human rights recognized by the UN. Elementary human rights – including those from the Basic Law of the Federal Republic – are already largely restricted. We demand a right of asylum that deserves the name! No more deportations to countries where freedom, life and limb are threatened! No more blanket declarations by countries about “safe countries of origin” when people flee from there precisely because they cannot live there safely. For Cameroon, Afghanistan, Syria and whatever other countries are called from which people have to flee because otherwise they have no chance of surviving, this is a great loss, because it is precisely the people who have to leave the country who are important for building up their livelihoods are. Our solidarity is with the oppressed peoples there. We are for eliminating the causes of flight! We wish you success in your fight and support you as far as we can.
Greetings in solidarity from your friends and fellow campaigners from Esslingen

MLPD Halle/Saale

Dear Alassa, I am writing to you from my sick bed in the Dölau hospital on behalf of the Marxist-Leninists and many of your friends from Halle an der Saale. At the moment I still have a few days to recover from a couple of minor strokes and a sudden hearing loss.
But none of this can be compared to what you went through, how you had to fight, fought and continue to fight, for you, for many refugees, for the right to escape and asylum on an anti-fascist basis, for our common cause of fighting against Imperialism, fascism, exploitation, oppression and the destruction of the unity of man and nature, for a liberated world where all people around the world will live well and together. Your role model was and is an example and gives many people the strength to join our common struggle for liberation from the yoke of imperialism, to persevere and to surpass themselves. Me too.
That the rulers are persecuting, terrorizing, locking up, murdering or, as you would like to deport, the bravest and best fighters for the freedom of the peoples of the world is nothing new, you have already experienced it first hand. We will continue to stand by your side, make this tremendous act of the German state apparatus known in the workplaces and in the residential areas of our city, organize solidarity and fight and win together, you will certainly experience that again, on a small scale and hopefully not all in the distant future also on a large scale.
Today our solidarity greetings from your fellow campaigners from our city, who stand by you in word and deed. Nothing and nobody will get us down. Neither "stupid" diseases nor the deportation terror of parts of the German state apparatus will be able to stop our just fight. The victory will be ours. We are unstoppable. Solidarity is a powerful weapon that no one should underestimate.
They can break a finger.
But five fingers are a fist!
High international solidarity!
Proletarians and oppressed of all countries unite.
Your friend Frank Oettler

Courage Hamburg

Dear Alassa, we were outraged to learn that you are about to be deported again. We, women of courage from Hamburg, were therefore at a rally today and spoke out against your deportation and the deportation of everyone else and expressed our solidarity. It is so obvious that you should be silenced with the deportation to Cameroon. People like you who are committed to the needs of the refugees are a "thorn in the side" of the government. This is deportation terror.
We assure you of our solidarity.

"Hello Alassa, I'm Perisu and I greet you from the bottom of my heart!" (red fox, ten years old)

MLPD residential area construction group Gelsenkirchen-Rotthausen

Dear Alassa, we are fully behind you in the fight against your deportation. The attack on your right to flee and the right of all refugees is part of our common fight against the right-wing trend in prevailing politics. Your courage and perseverance is a role model for us.
We will publicize the attack on you in our community and also use it to expose the government's inhuman asylum policy and the dismantling of democratic rights and to strengthen the movement against it.

"The Crisis of Bourgeois Ideology and Anti-Communism," August 13

It found that the brutal police operation in the Ellwangen state initial reception center was illegal.

Local group Gelsenkirchen-West

Dear Alassa, we do not agree with the inhuman, reactionary deportation terror against you and other of our friends! We won't allow that! Your fight against the right-wing development of the government, the consistent commitment to the rights of the refugees in unity with the participation in the fight in Germany is an example for us! We are fully behind and in front of you in Horst! We greet and hug you, your comrades from Gelsenkirchen-West

Olaf Swillus, Essen

Alassa Mfouapon must not be deported. Together we can prevent this.

llona from the Internationalist Alliance, currently vacationing in the Thuringian Forest holiday park

Dear Alassa, just a moment ago we were standing together and laughing at our shyness in front of the camera, we were enthusiastic about the new director who helped you to finish shooting the video of individual candidates from the Internationalist List / MLPD.
When I read the news on Rote Fahne News, I was outraged that they want to deport you to the country that forced you to flee because of the terror and lack of freedom towards large parts of the population. Yesterday I had a conversation about the causes of monocultures in Africa, the overexploitation and the destruction of the basis of life by the most diverse imperialists in this large part of the world.
I am outraged at how you and many refugees are being treated. I escaped myself in 1977. Not much has changed in the treatment of refugees who did not immediately adapt to the policies of the oppressors and exploiters of people and nature.
I am outraged by the cowardly attack on you, which makes one thing clear: the ridiculousness of this process. We will publicize this next scandal in dealing with you and certainly discuss at the next meeting of the Internationalist Alliance what we will do about it together with the Friends of Refugee Solidarity in Solidarity International.

FOR THE RIGHT TO ESCAPE!
FOR AN UNRESTRICTED RIGHT OF ASYLUM FOR ALL THE OPPRESSED ON AN ANTIFACIST BASIS!
In this sense, warm and courageous solidarity.
Greetings Ilona

Voter initiative of the Internationalist List/MLPD Hubert Bauer Esslingen, 14.8.21

Dear Alassa, we heard you have a problem with deportation. We want to say: you are not alone, we fight together. We feel your fear, but also your courage. But we don't give up and keep fighting the government so that there are no more deportations! Together in solidarity we will win. We admire you because you are so brave.
We care for you and stand with you! Long live the international solidarity

Voter initiative Renate Schmidt and Thomas Voelter (Zollernalb district)

Dear Alassa,
Yesterday our voters' initiative met. Our direct candidate from the Internationalist List/MLPD told us about your life story, your escape and your tireless struggle for the unity of Germans and migrants. We are outraged at the renewed attempt to deport you and the lies that are being constructed solely to break your fighting spirit. We declare our solidarity with you and assure you that we will support you in your further struggle.

Fritz and Verena, Stellantis International Automotive Worker Coordination

Dear Alassa,
We were outraged to learn that the BAMF was threatening to shoot you down. This is real 'deportation terror' that is happening to you. It is unspeakable what you are being accused of! You are a courageous fighter for freedom and international solidarity. That makes you a role model from whom we in the international automotive workers' coordination can also learn a lot. It is obvious that they are trying to silence you by deporting you to Cameroon. Your fight against the inhuman refugee policy in Germany and internationally is a thorn in the side of Seehofer, Alice Weider and Co. This is an expression of the intensified rightward development of the government. We must organize against this together! Whoever attacks one of us attacks us all. Dear Alassa, we are behind you. feel like greetings,

Refugee Council NRW eV 09.08.2021 | Currently, other countries of origin / Deportation of Alassa Mfouapon to Cameroon

Alassa Mfouapon, a nationally known refugee activist against the development of asylum policy in Germany and federal spokesman for the organization "Freundeskreis Flüchtlingssolidarität", received a request from the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees on August 6 that he should go to Cameroon within a week because he otherwise be deported there. His application for asylum was "obviously unfounded".
In the case Alassa Mfouapon is it a repeat political example of the federal government. Because he has represented the "courageous, active and successful fight against this right-wing development and the reactionary refugee policy" for years.
Alassa Mfouapon explains: "The rejection of my asylum application corresponds to the policy of the federal government to reject all asylum applications from refugees from Africa and to deport them again. Always on the grounds that their home countries are 'safe' countries of origin. I recently spoke to other refugees from Africa who are now being deported on the same grounds. If Cameroon was a 'safe' country, why would people flee? Why would anyone take a boat across the Mediterranean and risk their life when they can live 'safely' in their own country? Just a week ago, several young refugees from Cameroon died in the desert because they fled. No matter what specific reasons someone flees - everyone has a right to flee on an anti-fascist basis. The federal government must revise these asylum decisions and approve our applications for political asylum. We demand the immediate admission of all democratically minded political refugees!”
The fourth part of Podcast Series 'Oh, Cameroon!' from June 25th, 2021 of the podcast "Afrika für Almans" is about the ongoing civil war in western Cameroon. In protest against French dominance, the English-speaking areas of Cameroon are trying to gain more freedom and independence as Ambazonia. Since 2016, the resulting Anglophone crisis between rebels and the troops of Eternal President Paul Biya has claimed several thousand lives. This bloody conflict is very underrepresented internationally and has its roots in the colonial division of the country after World War I and the systematic abolition of federal elements in independent Cameroon in the 1970s. You can find the podcast here.

Resolution of the solidarity rally 12.8. in Hamburg for Alassa and protest against the federal government's deportation terror

Dear Alassa, we declare our full solidarity and protest against the tightened deportation measures of the federal government. We are particularly outraged that you should be reprimanded for giving many refugees a voice and being a "leader" for them. As Hamburgers, we live in a city with over 146 nationalities, which is what makes us open to the world and why we are particularly outraged by the federal government’s inhuman asylum policy. We demand that you get asylum immediately and that a real right of asylum is reintroduced. This is already demanded by the conditions in the world, in which constantly new causes of flight are generated by predatory, inhuman imperialist policies, wars, environmental catastrophes, etc. We wish you and the others in a similar situation every success and that this repression will be stopped. We demand the right to flee as a human right!

Around 45 participants in the Monday demonstration in Dortmund

Dear Alassa, today at the 17th anniversary of our Monday demonstration, we heard about your imminent deportation by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees. We are outraged and convey our full solidarity to you and all migrants affected by the deportation. It is certainly no coincidence that you, as a recognized spokesman for the organization “Friends of Refugee Solidarity in Solidarity International” and many refugees, are to be deported. It is part of the government's rightward development, which includes the reactionary asylum and refugee policy, as well as the dismantling of democratic rights and freedoms. The rulers don't like it when migrants fight self-confidently for their rights and are consciously part of the democratic and progressive political movements in Germany. It is the politics of the international monopolies and their governments that are responsible for the causes of flight worldwide!
As the Monday demonstration, we defend the right to flee and support all efforts and struggles directed against those who cause and trigger flight movements. We call on the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees to immediately withdraw the threatened deportation of Alassa Mfouapon and other refugees!
Around 45 participants in the 17th annual celebration of the Dortmund Monday Demo.

The Monday demonstration Recklinghausen sends warm greetings

Dear Alassa,
The Monday demonstration in Recklinghausen learned with great indignation that you had received a letter asking you to leave Germany within a week, otherwise they threatened you with deportation. We have the feeling that an example should be made of you, because you are involved in the refugee issue in many ways and are therefore uncomfortable for those in power. We know the reasoning in the decision well enough: There are no convincing reasons for asylum and Cameroon is a so-called “safe country of origin”, although the security situation has continued to worsen in recent years. You have work here and are integrated.
We therefore strongly demand that you can stay here in Germany and we declare our full solidarity with you.
Kind regards, Rupert Seth, spokesman for the Monday demonstration in Recklinghausen

Staff at the Thuringian Forest holiday park

Dear Alassa, we are extremely outraged by the renewed attempt by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) to deport you to Cameroon. We have followed and admired your courageous fight for the rights of refugees and stand with you wholeheartedly. A few days ago you were our guest again, which made us very happy. We ourselves have made a contribution to a humanitarian refugee policy with the construction of the House of Solidarity in the Thuringian Forest Holiday Park, supported by many volunteers and private donors. We see the threat of deportation against you as a further step in the right-wing development of government policy, which will be tightened again just in time for the federal elections. It joins the reactionary police laws, the classification as a danger to communists, especially Stefan Engel, and the outrageous attacks on the peaceful demonstration in memory of Friedrich Engels on August 7, 2021 in Wuppertal.
We demand from the BAMF the immediate stop of your deportation and the recognition of your asylum application.

PS: The BAMF should actually be renamed “Federal Office versus Migration and Refugees”

Europe Coordinators of the World Women's Conference of Grassroots Women
Halinka Augustin/Netherlands and Susanne Bader/Germany

Dear Alassa,
With great anger we read that the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees is again threatening you with deportation. You should go to Cameroon within a week, otherwise you will be deported there. What a bold, cheeky attack on human dignity.
We got to know you as an activist for the rights of refugees, as a federal spokesman for the “Freundeskreis Flüchtlingssolidarität” (Friends of Refugee Solidarity) you campaign for refugees in Germany. You meet all the requirements of the German authorities: you speak German, you do an apprenticeship, you pay taxes and you are not a burden to anyone. So what is the reason for this sudden deportation?!
We know that your former homeland, Cameroon, has been at war for years and that civilians are bearing the brunt of unlawful killings, torture, kidnappings and demolitions of homes and villages. A large number of people are fleeing within the country, while others are fleeing abroad. People live in fear without protection in forests and much more. Long live international solidarity. For the right to escape!

dr Manfred Fischer on Alassa's speech:

I refer to the speech by Alassa Mfouapon recorded in the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EIjmvJN4Z6I which I listened to. Then I looked at the homepage of the federal authority BAMF. (Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) is a higher German federal authority in the portfolio of the Federal Ministry of the Interior, Building and Community (BMI) based in the former southern barracks in Nuremberg.) From what Alassa Mfouapon presented in his lecture, I would have rather expected that this authority would be called the Federal Office for Deportation. On the BAMF homepage, however, everything that Alassa Mfouapon did in Germany is recommended for integration to asylum seekers. I therefore have to state that the BAMF has not fulfilled the tasks it set itself at Alassa Mfouapon. As Alassa Mfouapon reports, the BAMF's statements about his CV after his escape are teeming with errors. But how is a migrant supposed to get “right” when the BAMF makes many false assumptions about the person. Before these mistakes are corrected by the BAMF, any decision by the BAMF is wrong and therefore illegal, including deportation, of course.

Your trainer with wife / media group publishing house new path

Dear Alassa,
on vacation we (my wife and I as your trainer) found out that you should be deported. How dare this state disregard the right to asylum, the right to life and physical integrity! Integration of refugees, elimination of the shortage of skilled workers, is it all just phrases and hypocrisy?
You are integrated in the company, you eagerly learn the specialist knowledge and also the German language, you tackle new projects fearlessly and imaginatively. You are integrated among young people as a pioneer for a future in freedom, you are integrated among refugees as a pioneer for their rights in the "Friends of Refugee Solidarity". What more does the Federal Office for Migration want? We have a suspicion that at the top of his checklist for integration is the term "cheating". They must not and will not get away with this. Solidarity will win!
Warm greetings from the Black Forest, Bernward and Barbara Hauck

Declaration of solidarity of the Federal Representation of Solidarity International eV:
Whoever attacks one of us attacks us all! The deportation terror must stop!

Dear Alassa,
On August 6, 2021, the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BaMF) asked you to go to Cameroon within one week, otherwise you would be deported there. The federal representation of "Solidarity International eV (SI)" is protesting on behalf of the entire association against this inhumane procedure. This deportation terror concentrates on militant forces and refugees from Africa, whose countries of origin are generally declared to be "safe". It is fully in line with the reactionary refugee policy of Interior Minister Horst Seehofer (CSU) and the federal government. This refugee policy is shaped by and serves the most backward national and racist resentment. Like when Seehofer equates refugees with criminals. For example, when people who have established an existence in Germany continue to be called “foreigners”. Such as when "integration" is demanded of immigrants, but only adapted subjects are expected!
Solidarity International makes the fight against your deportation its own cause. Whoever attacks one of us, attacks us all!

Summer camp in Truckenthal:

Decided by the summer camp of REBELL and ROTFOUCHES and the visitors of the 16th forest festival in the Truckenthal holiday resort

Dear Alassa, we at the REBELL and ROTFOUCHES summer camp and the visitors of the 16th forest festival have heard about your announced deportation to Cameroon. This process is absolutely outrageous. And for many reasons!
Because you've settled in well in Germany, made friends and learned the German language. Because you have now found a job, are doing an apprenticeship and had to flee your home country for good reason. It is above all an expression of this inhuman policy and the right-wing development of the government, especially in this situation in which new crisis and disaster reports come from all over the world every day, to intensify the deportation. A particular political scandal is that it affects you in particular: Our children's camp has the motto "Brave role models for brave red foxes". We got to know you as a courageous role model years ago at this camp, when you fought against criminalization and for the organization of refugees in Ellwangen.
The motto of the youth camp is “In which world do we want to live?”. There are some participants at the camp who also had to flee their countries and are now threatened with deportation. We want a world without exploitation and oppression, in which nobody has to flee their homes and everyone gets the help they need.
We fought with you when you were deported to Italy before - and won. We fought with Stefan Engel against his criminalization as a dangerous person, and we won. And we will also fight with you against this deportation.
High international solidarity! Your rebels and red foxes

Niels Clasen, Labor and future

Hello friends, as so often - apparent calm is deceptive! The – one has to put it that way – notorious Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) has just decided on the asylum application of the Cameroonian refugee and courageous activist Alassa Mfouapon: Rejected - obviously unfounded! A blow to him, the activist, to all courageous activists - a blow to our solidarity! Obviously unfounded - this "judgment" has it all. See our article! Also our detailed comment on the country of origin Cameroon... Now more solidarity is needed again. Protest where you can! Here is the article on work in the future: https://www.arbeit-zukunft.de/2021/08/09/solidaritaet-fluechtlingsaktivist-alassa-mfouapon- soll-erneut-abschiebt- werden.

father Reinhold Baumann from the Comboni brothers, Ellwangen, writes:

Hello Alassa, I am shocked to learn from my friend Eberhard that they still want to deport you. I thought that was finally over by now. It is incomprehensible to me that after everything you have been through and suffered so far, people are still threatening you. I really hope that this too will pass, like all previous actions have passed. Thank you to everyone who has supported you so far. You have become a sign of hope for many and should continue to be so. I will never forget the conversations I had with you over the past two years in our house. You can be sure of our solidarity here in Ellwangen. With best regards, Father Reinhold Baumann

One of many friends, Stuttgart on August 9, 2021

We have known you since the memorable protest demo in Ellwangen in May 2018: We are refugees, no criminals, deportation is murder! In solidarity, we supported the fight against the inhuman terror of a police army of 500 police officers with dogs. All on behalf of the oh so green and Christian state government of Kretschmann/Strobl. We protested against your illegal and brutal deportation to Salvini Italy, demanded your immediate return. We were happy about your return, collected thousands of signatures for your asylum and right to stay! We said: The causes of flight must be fought, not refugees! We demand: There is a right to flee! Article 16a of the Basic Law guarantees as a lesson from Hitlerite fascism: “Politically persecuted people enjoy the right to asylum!” However, the various governments of the CDU, SPD, Greens, FDP etc. have changed this basic right beyond recognition.

AfD Alice Weidl and Bildzeitung with their lies and agitation lost in court. You will be supported by hundreds of your fellow refugees in the LEA Ellwangen, by social workers there, by amnesty international, Combonis, the Alassa Circle of Friends, by Solidarity International! An honest, Christian-thinking person quotes from Matthew 25:40: "What you did to one of my least brothers, you did that to me!" On the other hand, Strobl from the C-Party: Hypocrisy by the hour! Should your planned deportation be the cowardly revenge of the state government in BaWü in association with Seehofe & Co. for the lost process on February 18, 2021 in Stuttgart?

No one sings as beautifully as you Beethoven and Schiller's freedom song joy beautiful god sparks! If desired in German, Italian, French, English. Like you, parents have lost children fleeing through the desert or the Mediterranean: Alain Kurdi and your drowned son are not forgotten! We accuse - we are with you!

How many more people are supposed to drown in the Mediterranean, protected by the EU Frontex Armada? You secure the "Fortress Europe" from the victims of your politics, drive them to death and misery - Black lives matter! Our friend Alassa stays here. You only have your power, secured by your laws and regulations, protected by your police, by detention centers like in Pforzheim or refugee camps like in Moria, Kara Tepe and Lipa. Our friend Alassa is one of 82 million refugees worldwide! Whoever attacks one attacks us all! We are Alassa! What kind of politicians are they? On his 69th birthday, Seehofer even boasts of having deported 69 refugees. Laschet smiles in the face of the flood disaster. Is he smirking again at the deportations? In the palaces and villas like in the seat of Prime Minister Kretschmann in the Villa Reizenstein on the heights of Stuttgart you can live well and govern against human rights - a shame! Alassa stay here! Unrestricted right of asylum for all oppressed on an anti-fascist basis!

A friend from the Philippines on the information about another attempt at deportation:

Hello my friend, Sad to hear about the plight of Alassa. I am in solidarity with you standing for human rights. More power. We should not denounce for our rights. I share your sentiments. Warm hugs, Cr.

Klaus-Jürgen Hampejs, IGM Senior and activist of the IAC International Automobile Workers Coordination:

Dear Alassa, I read with indignation that you are about to be deported again. You've never been guilty of anything in your life and endured a horrible escape across the Mediterranean. Isn't Seehofer and Strobl's defeat before the administrative court in Stuttgart enough? You walked out of court a free man, the allegations. against you were baseless. In this system, brave, militant and democratic people are a thorn in the side of capital and its parties. But we motorists and trade unionists stand for solidarity, anti-racism and anti-fascism. We are international and in solidarity with migrants on an anti-fascist and democratic basis. Away with the threatened deportation.
Yours sincerely
Klaus-Jürgen Hampejs Gartringen

The national board of the women's organization Courage writes:

Dear Alassa, we were outraged to learn that your asylum application was rejected as "obviously unfounded" and that you received another deportation notice. We from the Courage women's association protest against this in the strongest possible terms. Minister of the Interior Seehofer stands for a further tightening and legal development in the bourgeois refugee policy - the real situation in the deportation countries is of no interest! The CDU/CSU election program for the Bundestag elections says: "We expect from the partner countries in development cooperation also one close cooperation in combating the causes of flight and illegal migration (for example Taking back own nationals)“. According to media reports, the situation in Cameroon is dramatic. According to the United Nations (UN), more than 700,000 people have fled since the outbreak of violence more than four years ago. Around 60,000 of them fled to neighboring Nigeria. According to the UN, more than 1.4 million people in the region are dependent on humanitarian aid. The armed conflict in Anglophone Cameroon has now claimed more than 5,000 lives. Civilians bear the brunt of unlawful killings, kidnappings and widespread demolitions of homes and villages. Does that look like a safe country of origin?! We call on the federal government to immediately declare the deportation notice invalid! You have the courage to stand up to the state, backed by widespread support among refugees and other progressive sections of the population. So you sued against the brutal, unlawful police operation in the refugee accommodation in Ellwangen - and won. The authorities once wanted to get rid of you and deported you to Italy. But you came back with great solidarity. Organizing the refugees in the circle of friends within SI (Solidarity International) is, among other things, thanks to you - an essential step, because we can only develop our common resistance against the almost complete erosion of the right to asylum if we are organized. "Now let's talk" the slogan of the demonstration in Ellwangen against the brutal police action was the prelude to a broadening refugee movement. This is exactly what the authorities want to stop with your deportation. Let's stick together and prepare another defeat for the Ministry of the Interior, just as they failed in the trial of Stefan Engel, who was declared a dangerous person on an anti-communist basis. For the right to asylum on an anti-fascist basis!
With solidarity and combative greetings

Dr Lutz van Dijk, writer and historian (Amsterdam and Cape Town): No deportation for Alassa Mfouapon

Alassa Mfouapon has made a name for himself in Germany, but also internationally - as a refugee from Cameroon who not only argues with good reasons for his own asylum application, but also works in an exemplary manner for others who are similarly affected. He can now do this in German and has even started an apprenticeship in Germany. I think it's a win for German society to be able to meet someone like him - and thus to be able to break down a lot of prejudice against refugees. It would only be good if his asylum application finally got a permanent positive decision.

Circle of Friends of Refugee Solidarity Essen 8.8.2021

Dear Alassa, we have read that the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees wants to deport you to your home country Cameroon within a week. That's a scandal! People do not flee for fun, but because their lives are threatened. Federal Interior Minister Horst Seehofer simply declares the countries to be safe countries of origin and wants to deport all refugees. In his opinion, Afghanistan is also safe. Incidentally, he also declares all refugees to be criminals: "How can one be held responsible for the fact that criminals can no longer be returned to their home country?" This is a reactionary refugee policy that meets with our declared resistance. You are an activist in the refugee movement. You are known nationwide as spokesman for the Friends of Refugee Solidarity. You bravely stand at the forefront of the fight of the refugees. Above all, you stand for the close connection between the struggle of the refugees for the right to stay and the struggle of the local population. You were there when the Friends of Refugee Solidarity was founded in Essen. That's what the rulers are all about: deporting militant refugees.
Dear Alassa, whoever attacks one of us attacks all of us. We declare our full solidarity to you. We are publicizing this scandal in Essen. We support you in your fight for asylum.
Solidarity greetings Heinz Rothfuss

Sigmaringen, Members of Voter initiative:

Dear Alassa, we have to stand up to help you. Our team will help you to stay in Germany. We will stand up for you because you are a big leader of our team. Some of us do not know you personally but always heard good things about you. Now we will help you. We are fighting for our rights to get a transfer out of LEA and to stay in Germany. We are members if the electoral initiative Renate Schmidt and Thomas Voelter in Albstadt and we will speak about the right of refugees and the solidarity with you at our next meeting on Friday.
Good luck

Voter initiative Internationalist list MLPD Cologne:

Dear Alassa, we, the Cologne voters' initiative of the Internationalist List - MLPD, are outraged that the BAMF is trying again to deport you to Cameroon. The reasons for your flight are anything but "unbelievable", as the BAMF cheekily claims. Like tens of thousands of others, you were persecuted in your home country and had to risk your life with your family several times. Who does that without being forced to? But the EU, first and foremost the federal government and Minister of the Interior Seehofer, are further intensifying their reactionary refugee policy and deportation terror, although imperialist wars and chaotic conditions are increasing in more and more countries. We condemn that in the strongest possible terms. We stand up for a right to flee on an anti-fascist basis. We demand from the BAMF the immediate stop of your deportation and the recognition of your asylum application. We will fully support you in this struggle and demand the immediate admission of all democratically minded political refugees!

Monday demonstration Bochum

Dear Alassa, on August 9th the Monday Demo celebrated 17 years of the Bochum Monday Demo. We have already reported about you and your struggle several times and we would like to send you our solidarity greetings. We undertake to continue to support you in your fight against deportation. Since your brave appearance and the demonstration for human rights for refugees in Ellwangen, they want to silence you. With you, a refugee should be punished who works for the interests of all refugees and for human rights for refugees and a social perspective. But in the meantime your voice can be heard in many places, the circle of friends for refugee solidarity has been founded and they will not be able to silence you. You have staying power and many supporters – Mr. Seehofer and his friends should know that by now. Together we are strong in the fight with you! Fighting greetings from the Bochum Monday demo!

Karl Nümmes, singer-songwriter from Berlin

Dear Alassa, in my upcoming street music performances I will sing again and again: "Alassa is not alone! People get on your feet! Our flag is flying. The flag of solidarity!”

Monday demonstration Duisburg

Dear Alassa, because of your brutal escape story, your commitment to human rights as a refugee activist and thus as a member of the opposition, we think that you definitely belong in Germany, because those who think differently are not well regarded in Germany at the moment. That's why we at the BAMF demand the immediate stop of your deportation and the recognition of your asylum application

Elisabeth Mauz, Karlsruhe

Dear Alassa, since I met you personally a few years ago, our paths have crossed again and again. I followed your life in Germany, which was characterized by ups and downs, with admiration and respect. You felt the effects of the inhuman refugee policy of the Merkel / Seehofer government, the arbitrariness to which you and your friends were and are exposed. You were treated like second-class people by the authorities, deliberately pushed back and forth. But you didn't let yourself be intimidated, you fought for your rights as a refugee and as a person, never for yourself alone, but always to improve the situation of all refugees. In each of our encounters I could see: Your courage, your determination and sincerity, your empathy, especially for the children, your certainty that you can live in a better world for everyone and your consistent commitment to it are unbroken.
Dear Alassa, you have made many friends here in Germany and you are strong. Together we will fight against your deportation and that of your friends. We stand by your side.
Eli from Karlsruhe

Monday demonstration Herne from 9.8.

Dear Alassa, the Herner Monday demonstration declares its full solidarity against the rejection of your asylum application and the threat of deportation. We also see this as unjustified revenge, since you are a recognized and well-known activist for refugee solidarity. Whoever attacks one of us attacks us all! Your Herner Monday demo

A holiday group from Lake Constance: United we stand – divided we fall. Solidarity forever!

Dear Alassa, a holiday group from Lake Constance sends you solidarity greetings. We are outraged by the outrageous deportation notice that the BAMF sent you. To claim, given your story, that your asylum application is "manifestly unfounded" is so inhuman. You are a leading activist precisely against this contempt for human beings in the imperialists' refugee policy. This path has great success and appeal. The attacks on you are clearly an act of revenge and an attempt to make a deterrent example of you. They won't get away with this! This direction of becoming active and organizing yourself will continue to grow! We stand by your side and of course also support the collection of donations for the "Friends of Refugee Solidarity".

resolution Monday demonstration Mülheim-Ruhr: (unanimously with one dissenting vote)

Dear Alassa, the Monday demonstration Mülheim-Ruhr will declare its full solidarity with you on August 9th, 2021! The renewed threat of deportation testifies to intensified right-wing developments and oppression. After the victory of Stefan Engel, the former chairman of the MLPD, against his classification as a danger a week ago, the rulers are taking a tough stance. You should be deported. Not only did you contribute to the self-organization of the refugees, you also helped establish a new type of cooperation between refugees and German friends: the Friends of Refugee Solidarity. All this against the toughest resistance from BAMF, AfD, police, BILD newspaper. You successfully sued. But not only that: In the corona pandemic you fight for health protection, inform other refugees about the need for vaccinations etc. You are also attacked because you are a role model. They want to throw you out of the country so that something like this doesn't catch on. We won't allow that.
Together we are strong! on behalf of the Monday demonstration Mülheim-Ruhr, Gisela De Lorie

Solidarity resolution of the Monday demonstrations in Sindelfingen and Stuttgart from August 9th, 2021

The Monday demonstration is outraged by the inhumane deportation policy of federal and state politics. We generally criticize the arbitrary and untenable classification into so-called safe countries of origin. So Seehofer wants to continue deporting to Afghanistan, although there are currently 270,000 fleeing from the Taliban – after NATO troops have been fighting terrorism there for 20 years. Every ten minutes a civilian dies in attacks in Afghanistan. Between May and June alone, around 2,500 civilians were injured or killed - more than at any time since UN records began in 2009. Stop the deportations to Afghanistan!
In practice, deportation terror is currently concentrated primarily on militant forces and refugees from Africa, whose countries of origin are generally declared to be “safe”. The refugee activist Alassa Mfouapon is to be deported again!
Alassa Mfouapon's application for asylum was rejected as "manifestly unfounded" and he was given a week to leave the country or face deportation to Cameroon. To the country that he had to leave with his family because, as a religiously mixed couple, their lives had been attempted there.
The fact that Alassa Mfouapon has since developed into an activist for human rights, that he has become a spokesman for the refugee solidarity organization that he co-founded, which is recognized by many refugees, now makes him a particular target of the German government's reactionary and aggressive refugee policy. Solidarity with Alassa!
The refusal of asylum for Sinem Mut and Anil Kaya fits into the same pattern. During your studies in Ankara you were active in the "Association for Democratic Rights" (DH). They were arrested and sentenced to 6 years and 3 months in prison. The administrative court in Augsburg considered the court proceedings in Turkey and the imprisonment imposed to be 'fair' and thus rejected her application for asylum. They opted for our deportation...
The court justified this attitude with "You could be a member of an illegal organization" and "There is no testimony that there is abuse and torture in Turkish prisons".
To all those affected: We stand by your side - whoever attacks one of us attacks all!
Cheers to international solidarity!

A. Fischer, works council and shop steward for the severely disabled with colleagues from GussTec from Heiligenhaus

It is with great anger and indignation that I learned today, August 8th, 2021, from the RF-News about the renewed deportation plans against Alassa Mfouapon. This time he is no longer to be deported to Italy, but to his country of origin, Cameroon.
Their aim is to introduce Sharia law and ban free elections and education. "Boko Haram is waging a war against the people of Cameroon with shocking human losses," Ilaria Allegrozzi, senior Central Africa researcher at Human Rights Watch (HRW), told the Africa Live blog on April 6, 2021.
The RF-News rightly points out that the federal government's deportation routine is by no means just about criminals. The refugees who are fighting for their democratic rights internationally, according to the Geneva Convention and especially in Germany according to Article 1 of the Basic Law (human dignity is inviolable), who courageously and successfully complain against the reprisals of the judiciary and authorities, are to be deported at the same time. Through such means, the federal government participates in the terror in the deportation countries and blames the victims and their relatives.
This practice is part of an increasingly right-wing development in European domestic and foreign policy, which wants to position itself to nip struggles by and for refugees, workers' interests and a different society in the bud. And that is precisely why we are all challenged not to allow deportation of ordinary refugees, tightening of police laws, criminalization of communists and their political representatives and parties or the promotion of fascist ideas and their propaganda! With a whole range of German and international colleagues from Iran, among others, the Mfouapon!

Voter initiative Dieter Böttcher in Waiblingen on August 7th, 2021 (Approved unanimously)

“We declare our full solidarity with Alassa Mfouapon, who is acutely threatened with deportation. We also protest against the fact that in this way a human rights and refugee activist is to be silenced and all those who are actively organizing for the rights of refugees are to be intimidated. We need people like Alassa and demand an unrestricted right to stay for refugees on an anti-fascist basis!”

Warm dedicated greetings and expressions of solidarity from other various individuals

Günter and Susanne Wagner, Gelsenkirchen

:Dear Alassa!
We are outraged by the BAMF's decision. To accuse an upstanding refugee rights fighter like you, after everything you went through on your flight and afterwards, of telling an untruth is outrageous. This is an expression of the intensified rightward development of the government. A growing number of countries are being handed over to fascist terror - like Afghanistan or your former homeland Cameroon. Deportation to such countries often means a death sentence. We will definitely not allow that. They can't get away with that! Warm solidarity greetings from vacation, Günter and Susanne W. from Gelsenkirchen

Bascha S.:

Hello, I'm outraged, horrified, can't believe it. What shoud that ? People who had to flee their country because there was no prospect of a safe future for life and limb seek refuge in Europe. Alassa and his wife have been living in Germany for a long time, are integrated, have a life that could give them a future here, who do they bother with, what else does the "authority" want so that they can stay here? Doesn't our country have a past that forced many to flee from this country during the 12 years of the brown dictatorship? Many of whom could only survive because other countries gave them protection and residence? Forget that completely those who want to deport those seeking protection who are integrated here? Who is it that makes such decisions? I appeal to you strangers, behave as you would like to be treated. Deportation of integrated people is a violation of humanity. Alassa and his wife should stay in Germany, where they live now is their place!
Sincerely, Bascha S.

Andrea and Klaus from vacation

Dear Alassa, we are outraged by the federal government's renewed attempt to deport you. We are completely on your side and promise you our full support.
Solidarity and warm regards, Andrea and Klaus from their vacation in Croatia.

Johanna Leichtfuss: Good luck and lots of love to you and all of us.

Dear Alassa Mfouapon, dear Adelheid Gruber and all you dear others of the Friends of Refugee Solidarity, the news of your impending deportation, Alassa, affects me. I hope and wish and pray that there is a way to prevent this. Are there legal options? Do we have to hide people to protect them? What are the options in view of the general election? Which parties with a chance to vote are still on the side of the law? I live in Schleswig-Holstein, far away from you - and yet close to you. Nevertheless, I see no capacity for myself to actively participate in the necessary resistance. But I would be happy to make a donation to you. I stand by your side - and believe in the power of love and the power of thoughts: "Alassa, you will win again and stay" - I take that as a mantram. It is for you and for all people who are being wronged or threatened to be wronged.
Thank you for your persistent fight for the rights of refugees and all people, which are so self-evident. Actually, it's crazy that this is necessary. Life should be such that we dance and rejoice together. The happiness of all people and beings should be the goal of all of us.
Good luck and love to you and all of us.
In solidarity with Johanna Leichtfuss.

Anja & Dietz Kippschull, Wuppertal

Dear Alassa, we would like to express our fullest solidarity to you. As members of SI, fighting for the rights of all refugees worldwide is a matter close to our hearts. With the renewed attack on your right to asylum, the government obviously wants to prevent refugees in Germany from continuing to fight for their rights in an organized manner in the future, to demand the fundamental right to asylum they are entitled to. At the same time, the ongoing rightward development of the government is once again clearly evident here. Obviously, a certain "strength" should be demonstrated here in order to keep certain groups of voters and also to further divide society. We know that you are not alone in your struggle, which is the struggle of all refugees. We will also stand by your side, fight together with you, and win together! Our solidarity is our strength! You can break a single finger, but not a whole fist!
Again many solidarity greetings, Anja & Dietz K., members SI Wuppertal

Heidrun S.

Dear Alassa, dear circle of friends,
there are such enormous hypocritical statements that our politicians spread in the media at prime time and in high-profile circles that refugees with an apprenticeship position may not be expelled. Above all Mr. Seehofer and Mr. Söder. We are led to believe that they are committed to ensuring that the companies and of course the people get their rights. As can be experienced once again, unfortunately everything is just inhuman hypocrisy. I appeal to all responsible decision-makers: Alassa and all refugees who want to integrate with us and prove this every day, to grant an unlimited stay with the ultimate goal of naturalization.
Heidrun S.

Rudi/Aalen and other friends from Ostalb

Dear Alassa,
Today we found out from the Red Flag here in the Ostalb region that you have been asked to leave Germany. We are very upset about this! It is the great baseness and depravity, but also the decline, of the bourgeois and capitalist system, its government and the associated politicians that confronts us with this right-wing development. The Rote Fahne rightly states: "Whoever attacks one of us attacks us all!"
Everyone here in the Ostwuerttemberg region who was and still is active in refugee aid and politics are in solidarity with you. For us it is a question of solidarity and human rights for all people in the world that we agree with the statement of the lawyer Frank Jasenski: "Of course we will not accept that!" We will take this further outrageous, inhumane action against you in our Make the environment known and continue to support the Friends of Refugees. We wish you all the best, perseverance and much success in your fight for a better social system.
Many solidarity greetings on behalf of Rudi/Aalen

Elvira Dürr, Berlin

: Dear Alassa, I am dismayed to read that you are about to be deported again! What a political farce! It's purely anti-communist, because you're a fighter for the refugees and for a future for all of us! If I tell this to our paddling friends, they won't believe me. You made a big impression there with your joie de vivre, your fun paddling and your life story. What we need is a signature list for your right to stay! can we initiate this immediately?
I stand by your side! Elvira

Doris Hensinger, Stuttgart

It is sad that the person and refugee Alassa Mfouapon, who stood up for others and had the courage to sue for the human rights of refugees in Germany, is now to be deported in the cold. Mr. Alassa Mfouapon is doing an apprenticeship and paying taxes, he is not on the state's pocket, he has learned the German language and is also committed to our country. From a refugee he has become someone who has arrived and who can and wants to belong to us. In Germany, we need people who not only duck their heads, but who actively stand up for the disadvantaged and the protection of democratic human rights. A deportation is incomprehensible and undignified. Where is the courage to recognize refugees who are also politically active here? I wish Mr Mfouapon all the best and hope he stays here.
Doris Hensinger

Greetings from Katrin E.

Hello, Mr. Mfouapon, Ms. Gruber,
I follow your petition and admire your commitment very much. Today you inform that Mr Mfouapon's application for asylum has been rejected. May I share my tip: please immediately apply to the RP + immigration authorities for a toleration for training with all the documents that the RP already has (training contract, identity card....) We had the experience that this, although the RP knows that an apprenticeship has started (or has been approved) is still necessary. The RP did not take notice of this. We only found out about this in time by asking. I wish you all the best, Mr. Mfouapon, and I hope that the toleration will work out.
Greetings Katrin E.

Gerhard Zahn, SI Stuttgart:

Alassa must not be deported. Alassa must not be deported to Cameroon. He is well integrated here. Do qualified training here in Germany and pay taxes. Alassa is uncomfortable for the BAMF and Interior Minister Seehofer. He protested against the brutal police operation back then in the LEA Ellwangen. He won the trial against the lies of Alice Weidel and also the trial against the state of Baden-Württemberg before the administrative court in Stuttgart and left the court a free man. The imminent deportation of Alassa is an expression of the federal government's shift to the right. In this way, the CDU/CSU parliamentary group in the Bundestag wants to snatch votes from the right-wing populist AfD. The CDU/CSU calls itself a Christian people's party. But their refugee policy is anything but Christian. Should Alassa be deported, he is threatened in his alleged homeland Cameroon likely torture and other difficulties. Cameroon has had an anti-terror law for several years. Because of this law, human rights and freedom of expression are severely restricted in this country. Alassa is a Democrat through and through. He also campaigns for the rights of the refugees and is something like the spokesman for the refugees. None of this suits the BAMF, the capitalist monopolies and their parties.

René Grießbach, Dresden

I, too, was dismayed to learn that Alassa Mfouapon, who is known nationwide as a refugee activist, was asked by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees to return to his home country as soon as possible, otherwise the deportation would be carried out.
This is part of an inhuman deportation practice that can be observed again and again in umpteen cases nationwide.
It is no coincidence that Alassa Mfouapon, a nationally known refugee activist against the right-wing developments in the government and national spokesman for the organization “Freundeskreis Flüchtlingssolidarität in Solidarität International” (Friends of Refugee Solidarity in Solidarity International), is an expression of the supposed strength of those who have taken up the cause of anti-communism. At the peak of the so-called refugee crisis a few years ago, a colleague who thought it was nothing short of good that refugees were coming here at all asked angrily rhetorically: "What do they want here?" in-depth discussion would have just been pointless, I only answered him briefly as an answer to this "What do they want here?": "Life."
The right to flee must be fought through, and this in connection with fighting and eliminating the causes of fleeing. This is only international.
Solidarity with Alassa Mfouapon and all the others who, for various reasons, had to flee their home countries and live with the risk of being deported back there.

Volker Hoffmann, historian, Berlin

What I have learned about Alassa Mfouapon's activity in the last few hours calls for special support for this anti-fascist and internationalist. He is indeed a model fighter for the rights of refugees.
I was particularly impressed that he fights for the rights of refugees - wherever he lives, which means: in his home country, but also in places where he can face special punishment. Such selfless commitment usually has an exceptionally exemplary effect. I'm by his side!

Dorothee Lohmann and Claus Zimmer, Kassel

Dear Alassa, We were dismayed to hear that the German Ministry of the Interior wants to deport you to Cameroon. If one can speak of a successful integration, then with you! You have an apprenticeship and therefore probably a permanent job in the future; you speak perfect German and have many German friends. You even pay taxes.
So one has to come to the conclusion that the German state's talk of needing foreigners with work and language skills for the economy is nothing but misrepresentation.
Instead, however, we can also state that the state is afraid: of people like you, who fearlessly put themselves at the service of international solidarity, who face oppressed colleagues who stand on the side of the weaker. And who stand up against injustice and arbitrariness. This deeply human behavior of yours frightens the rulers - and thus shows their weakness and inhumanity. This realization makes you strong!
Dear Alassa, we stand in solidarity with you during this grueling time for you. In our thoughts we embrace you; we like to think back to your visit with us in Mannheim! Stay strong!

Voter initiative "Lisa Gärtner", Gelsenkirchen

The voters' initiative "Lisa Gärtner" of the Internationalist List / MLPD Gelsenkirchen condemns the machinations against Alassa Mfouapon, which we will not accept in any way. We will make this scandal the topic of the day in Gelsenkirchen, throughout Germany and internationally. The background that prompted the immigration authorities to declare the deportation must be relentlessly revealed. The backers who instructed the immigration authorities to do this must be unmasked with their motives. We stand behind the refugees who are currently being deported, such as B. to Afghanistan, where life is currently not possible due to the terror of the Taliban with its inhumane crimes. But that also applies to refugees from Africa and other countries where they can no longer live due to war and environmental destruction.
Dear Alassa, we fully support you. This is an attack on us all.
Unanimously decided at the voters' initiative in Gelsenkirchen, August 6th.
