Final resolution of the refugee meeting on June 27, 2020

We 66 participants of the meeting on June 27, 2020, to which Solidarity International eV and the group of friends Alassa & friends invited, heard many incredible things about how refugees are treated in Germany - like second and third class people. Not only now in times of the corona pandemic, when we have been and are being forced to live together in a very small space - without masks, without tests. We're locked up like criminals. For years we have been waiting to apply for asylum. As a refugee, you go through trauma after trauma.

Let's build strong chains of solidarity in the fight against deportations

Friends of Refugee Solidarity July 2020

Let's build strong chains of solidarity in the fight against deportations

It is part of the reactionary refugee policy of the FRG to intensify deportations. Let's build stronger chains of solidarity.

  1. The person concerned is the focus. He/she is your strongest trump card, with his/her person, your reasons for fleeing, your goals. He/she himself must have wanted to take up the fight.
  2. If a deportation is announced, the specific risk of deportation must be assessed as precisely as possible. We help to present the documents in an orderly manner for immediate legal advice.

11 point program of the Friends of Refugee Solidarity

(adopted unanimously at the founding meeting of the Friends of Refugees on June 27th, 2020)

  1. The "Freundeskreis Flüchtlingssolidarität" is a non-partisan, self-organized association of refugees and activists of the democratic and revolutionary movement in Germany, which fights against the reactionary refugee policy of the Federal Government and the EU and for the right to asylum on a political basis. It builds on the rich experiences of the self-organized refugees from Ellwangen, who - like Alassa Mfouapon - have fought and are fighting against the martial police action or deportations.
  2. The circle of friends stands up for basic democratic and social rights and freedoms, the right to flee and the recognition of women-specific oppression as a reason for asylum.

Now let's talk – 2.0
20-point work program - decided at the 1st refugee policy congress in Stuttgart on November 30th, 2019

"Now we're talking" was the self-confident title of the first press conference of the refugees in Ellwangen after the martial, racist and illegal police operation against refugees in the state initial reception facility (LEA) on May 3rd, 2018. This work program is based on the work that has developed enormously since then and summarizes the main results of the 1st Refugee Policy Congress with "Now let's talk - 2.0!".

  1. We see an increase in the causes of flight all over the world and fight against the exploitation of the resources of the countries of the world, their people and nature and in particular the tightening of the refugee policy of those in power. We see this development - depending on the partly different political point of view - as inhumane, colonial or imperialistic. We are preparing for the dramatic increase in refugee flows in the future.
  2. We are already realizing our social goal in our cooperation: There must be no first and second class people! We are realizing a paradigm shift: instead of profit and power - solidarity and cooperation in equal rights. Depending on your political point of view, we call our social goal a good life, democracy, freedom or socialism.
